North America alone. Speaking at Wedbush Technology, Media and Telecommunications Conference in , he said that the game sold just as they (EA) expected. New York City
“Mass Effect 3 sold almost 0.9 million units on its opening day in NA alone which is quite remarkable. We anticipated it doing well, so we’re happy.”
He also stated that DLC, which was also available for purchase on 6th of March (the launch day of Mass Effect 3), has been also a huge success. GameStop claimed that ME3 saw a tie ratio of forty-percent (on opening day) which, according to Mr. Riccitiello, is highest in EA’s industry.
